Notices Regarding Unauthorized Use of the ANAB Mark
American Management Technology, Inc., based in Fontana, WI,
whose website is www.amtecregistrar.com, is accredited by ANAB
and in good standing. This organization should not be confused
with an organization falsely representing itself as American
Management Technology, Inc., and operating websites at
www.amtregistrar.com and www.amt-cn.com, which is not accredited by
ANAB and has circulated a fraudulent accreditation certificate with
the ANAB name and accreditation mark and the IAF MLA Mark
without authorization. [2010/06/16]
An organization representing itself as Euro Quality
Certification, via Baldo Degli Ubaldi, 330, 00167 Rome, is not
accredited by ANAB and is using the ANAB mark on certificates in
Italy without authorization. The EQ certificate number C2009/114
issued by Euro Quality Certification for Cooperativa Sociale
"Arteinsieme" bears the ANAB mark without authorization.

Guangdong Audit and Certification Centre of Quality System is
not accredited by ANAB or the former ANSI-RAB National
Accreditation Program (ANSI-RAB NAP) and is using the ANSI-RAB NAP
mark on certificates in China without authorization. The
certificate of conformity No. RAB2007Q0051 issued by Guangdong
Audit and Certification Centre of Quality System for Probe Car
Lifts Manufacturing Co., Ltd., bears the ANSI-RAB NAP mark without
authorization and also has a five year period of validity, which
does not conform with ISO/IEC 17021:2006. [2010/01/19]
A certification body at www.hkisa.com claims to be the Hong Kong
office of International Standards Authority, Inc. (ISA), an
ANAB-accredited CB headquartered in California (USA). ISA does not
have an office in Hong Kong and has not issued certificates to any
organizations in China or Hong Kong. The organization at
www.hkisa.com is misrepresenting its association with ISA and is
also misrepresenting being accredited by ANAB. The organization at
www.hkisa.com is using the ISA, ANAB, and
IAF-MLA marks without authorization. [2010/01/18]
Sweden Quality Certification (SQC) is not accredited by ANAB or
the former ANSI-RAB National Accreditation Program (ANSI-RAB NAP)
and is using the ANSI-RAB NAP mark on its Web site without
authorization. According to the site, SQC is headquartered in
Stockholm, Sweden, with offices in Norway, Finland, Germany, Japan,
Iran, the United Kingdom, and the United States. This body is not
accredited by SWEDAC or DANAK and is also using their marks without

B.R. Apartments (P) Ltd. of Vaishali, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh,
India, is not certified by CRS Registrars, Inc., and has used the
marks of CRS Registrars and the ANSI-RAB NAP (predecessor of ANAB)
without authorization. [2007/07/31]
Saro Agricultural Products Exporting Co. (Anbargol) of Tehran,
Iran, is no longer certified by Alliance international Registrar,
LLC, and has used the marks of Alliance international Registrar,
LLC, and the ANSI-RAB NAP (predecessor of ANAB) on product
packaging inappropriately and without authorization. ANAB and
Alliance international Registrar, LLC, have informed Anbargol that
it is prohibited from using their marks and have demanded that it
immediately refrain from doing so and from making any other
misrepresentations regarding ANAB-accredited certification by
Alliance international Registrar, LLC. [2007/02/08]
TransOil, Inc., of Los Angeles, CA, and Panama, is not certified
by Smithers Quality Assessments, Inc., and has used the marks of
Smithers Quality Assessments and the ANSI-RAB NAP (predecessor of
ANAB) on a registration certificate inappropriately and without
authorization. ANAB and Smithers Quality Assessments have informed
TransOil that it is prohibited from using their marks and have
demanded that it immediately refrain from doing so and from making
any other misrepresentations regarding ANAB-accredited
certification by Smithers Quality Assessments. [2007/02/01]
LT-Spedition of London, UK, is not accredited by ANAB and has
used the ANAB accreditation mark on a registration certificate
inappropriately and without authorization. ANAB understands that
LT-Spedition copied the signature of an ANAB-accredited CB without
permission in an attempt to pass off the certificate as authentic.
ANAB has informed LT-Spedition that it is prohibited from using
ANAB's mark and has demanded that it immediately refrain from doing
so and from making any other misrepresentations regarding
accreditation by ANAB. [2006/09/18]
Verisys Registrars of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, USA, is not
accredited by ANAB and has used the ANAB accreditation mark on a
registration certificate inappropriately and without authorization.
ANAB has informed Verisys Registrars and its client named on the
certificate of the unauthorized use of ANAB's mark and has asked
both parties to immediately refrain from using ANAB's mark and
making any misrepresentation regarding accreditation by ANAB.

Parry Jhonson Registrars Inc., a certification body operating in
India, has no connection with Perry Johnson Registrars Inc., an
ANAB-accredited certification body. Perry Johnson Registars
operates in India under the name PJR Certifications, Pvt. Ltd., and

Court Rules in Favor of ANAB
The U. S. District Court of Massachusetts has ruled in ANAB's
favor in a summary judgment against American Global Standards
(AGS). The court found that AGS had used the accreditation mark of
the ANSI-RAB National Accreditation Program (ANSI-RAB NAP, the
predecessor of ANAB) without permission to deceive customers into
believing that AGS was still accredited by ANAB (the ANSI-RAB
NAP).
