Join ANAB for the “Accreditation for Cannabis Testing Laboratories” webinar on May 10, 2016. This live three-hour session will be delivered through WebEx. “Accreditation for Cannabis Testing Laboratories” is an interactive training led by ANAB Program Manager, Matthew Sica. The introductory webinar will include a discussion of the benefits of ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for cannabis testing laboratories and the requirements that the laboratory will need to meet to achieve accreditation. This training will include a question and answer segment to aid comprehension. After submitting the registration form and fee, you will receive the login and call-in information for the session.
ANAB now offers public training on ISO/IEC 17021. The ISO/IEC 17021 standard has been updated, and the training is based on the new 2015 version of the standard. Attendees will gain a general understanding of the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 and its relationship with other accreditation requirements (e.g., ISO/IEC TS 17021-3) and IAF documents. Intended for staff of certification bodies and accreditation bodies.

The ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board is offering web-based transition training. The ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 Transition Training webinar is a live four-hour session delivered through WebEx. This interactive training will be led by ANAB accreditation assessor Rob Dye. The new and revised requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 standard will be discussed in detail, as will the transition process for CBs currently accredited by ANAB. The webinar will include a question and answer segment to aid comprehension and an exam to verify the appropriate knowledge was gained.
This training is designed to provide you with the knowledge necessary to understand the new and revised requirements and to implement the changes at your CB. It will also include background information on the reasons for the changes, information gathered directly from Randy Dougherty, co-convener of ISO/CASCO WG 21, the developers of ISO/IEC 17021. After submitting the registration form and fee, you will receive the login and call-in information for the session.

Two-day workshop to introduce attendees to ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024, General requirements for bodies operating certification schemes for persons. Discussions focus on building an understanding of requirements and benefits, and why the standard has become the benchmark for personnel certification. Geared toward representatives of corporations, organizations, government agencies, and others who operate personnel certification programs or wish to learn more about the ANSI accreditation process. Two-day workshop introduces ASTM E2659-09, Standard Practice for Certificate Programs, and ANSI's Certificate Accreditation Program. Attendees will learn about requirements for developing a quality education/training course with an assessment at the end to determine if the learning outcomes have been achieved. The workshop covers terminology, significance and use of the standard, requirements for certificate issuers, and certificate program and certificate issuance and use. Ideally suited to corporations, organizations, government agencies, and others that are issuing certificates based on a training or education course, and stakeholders (such as HR directors) who are accepting individuals with certificates into their organizations.
